Work in progress: The most vulnerable stage. It is mixed with vision, excitement, and hesitation. It can be mixed with fear, anxiety, or the need to feel the public will get it-accept it-like it.

Not in a viral sense, but in that vulnerable sense where public opinion for a brief time shatters inner acceptance. But art that progresses to , just like human beings, does not stay in this state. Eventually, self-acceptance proceeds public opinion and that is when the magic happens.

That is when art hits the audience in a different way. It is authentic and touches a persons soul, regardless of feelings.

Feelings are just feelings.

Authenticity, well that comes from the journey.

I like showing works in progress so those who consider being an artist, understand it is a messy process. I want people to reach inward for their own creativity, hopefully finding themselves in the journey, and finding the courage to go beyond a work in progress that is fragile to a confident king or queen in their own life.
